Learn to Make Your Favorite Authentic Tex-Mex & Mexican Food
Guided by Chef Sylvia Casares, these hands-on cooking classes focus on traditional techniques and signature recipes drawn from more than 20 years of culinary experience. You’ll build practical skills you can use at home while gaining a deeper appreciation for authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine.
Classes take place on Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m. and feature the preparation of dishes such as enchiladas, tamales, fajitas, breakfast classics, and desserts. Whether you’re cooking with friends, family, or planning a unique date, each class includes a full meal, dessert, and a beverage of your choice. Space is limited, and early reservation is recommended.
Class Experience
Each class features hands-on, instructor-led cooking in a small group setting, allowing for personal guidance throughout the experience. Classes include a full meal, dessert, and a beverage, and are held at Sylvia’s Eldridge location in Houston. Private cooking classes are also available upon request for groups, celebrations, and special events.
